Halloween Special

I've had such a busy month that I've neglected to post updates on the Sugar Mama blog. So sorry my sweet friends!

October has proved to be a great month. I've just started running specials on my website and advertisements in the local newspapers. Already I've received orders for my jack-o-lantern funny face cookies and Halloween cookie bouquet. They are so much fun to make and twice as good to eat!

Mustang Mania

It's been a great football season thus far and in celebration, I've come up with a Mustang Mania cookie bouquet and design. The bouquet has been very popular and I have so much fun making them!

Back to School

One of the local Christian schools ordered cookies for their teachers, in celebration of "Back to School" for this school year. I had originally thought about doing crayons and rulers, but then I came up with the school house and it was the winner. The cookies came out so cute and I'm so happy to hear that the teacher's enjoyed them as well.

Giving a little Sunshine

These are some of my favorite cookies to make. The ones sent to someone in need of a smile and a little sugar rush. It makes my day delivering these to folks and personally telling them, "Have a wonderful day."

A new baby season

I finally received an order for a BLUE cookie bouquet and you know what that means...it's baby boy season!
My daughter, who just had a little girl in June, swears there are "seasons" for babies. When she had her daughter the majority of the women in her child birth class were having girls. Thankfully, the season has come to an end and I get to make little boy cookies for awhile. Yea for new life!

Thinking of You

Sometimes, we have friends, family or fellow church members who are going through a rough patch in life. Send them the "Thinking of You" Bouquet to sweeten their day.

Aggie Bonfire

A customer, who's husband is an Aggie Alum, requested an Aggie Bonfire cake. It turned out a lot better than I ever imagined! Sorry for the poor photo quality...taken from my Blackberry.

Are you ready for some football?!

Cakes seem to be the hot item right now, so I've been making a lot of them for various occasions. The Football Cake is lots of fun to make and turned out really well!

Gone Fishin'

My husband is an avid fisherman so for Father's Day, I made him a dozen cookies. I hope all of the father's out there have a nice day with their families.

All about birthdays!

There are two forms of birthday celebrations. There is the inital birth day...and the ones that follow. These are some cookies I did for the birth of my granddaughter and some birthday cakes for a friend. Either way...birthdays are special and deserve a sweet celebration!

Two cheers for cookies!

The Marble Falls High School parent-cheer sponsor contacted me to do cookies for cheer camp this week. These are the 2" cookies in our school colors (purple and gold) and I wish the very best of luck to our girls in the upcoming school year! Go Mustangs!!

Happy Birthday Cupcakes

For my friend's birthday, I made her a dozen scrumptous cupcakes (white on white with chocolate sprinkles) and delivered them to her office on a cupcake tree. No knife needed...just pass around the cupcake tree!

Baby Cake

It's definitely the season for babies and if cookies just aren't enough for the shower your hosting, add a cake!

Baby Cookies

Babies are so sweet and why not celebrate that sweetness with an adorable sugar cookie bouquet. This particular bouquet is the 4" cookies, made for a couple at my church who are expecting a baby girl in just a few weeks!

The All-Occasion Dessert

While my forte is not pies (I leave that one up to the Bluebonnet Cafe), Sugar Mama offers a variety of flavorful cakes for all occasions. This particular cake is an Italian Cream Cake, which was recently ordered for a bunco party.

Engagement Party Treats

These adorable initial cookies were made for my nephew's engagement party in Dallas last fall. Don't be alarmed by the spider, the party was held in October, so we threw in a few holiday decorations as well.

Cupcake Craze

We're in a time of the cupcake craze and while some enjoy the appeal of brightly-colored icing, my 16-year-old son requested a "manly" cupcake tree for his birthday, with red velvet and cream cheese. Simple, moist and so delightful!

Tween Birthday

It's that akward stage between childhood and being an adult...the birthday parties aren't like they used to be and the cakes never seem to really say "Happy Birthday" in the perfect way to your teenager. The Tween Birthday Cake says it all and combines a mixture colors, textures and fruit accents that is sure to please your growing son or daughter!

I Heart You!

If you're like me, it has been a long stuggle finding an anniversary gift my husband would truly enjoy receiving as a small token of my love. I have finally found the perfect gift that says I love you. The "I Heart You" cookie bouquet comes complete with half a dozen colorful sugar cookies and another half dozen of his favorite cookie flavors filling the bottom of the pot. Order yours today!

The Royal Treatment

Every woman loves to be given the special treatment, so why not treat her to a tray of "Sugar Mama Princess Cookies," complete with her favorite colors and personalized.
For an extra special treat, order a complete dozen and make each cookie a name she treasures (First Name, Mrs. Last Name, Mom, Daughter, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, Best Friend...) so she knows her titles are recognized and appreciated.

*Also a special treat for men!

Welcome Home!

Looking for a way to welcome those new faces to the neighborhood?

Sugar Mama can help with a beautiful "Welcome Home" cookie bouquet. Each bouquet is unique and come in a variety of sunny colors.

Team Cookies

Hooray team!
Texans are serious about their team pride and the Texas hill country has some of the most devoted fans who get extra excited about their favorite teams during football season. What better way to say, "Go Team" to your favorite fan than an order of "Faithful Fan" cookies in their team colors for that Saturday afternoon in front of the television or packed in a bag for a snack at the big game. Also great for graduation!

Pink Flamingo Cookie Bouquet

You've been flocked!

Gone are the days of putting a flamingo in someone's yard to say "You've been flocked!" Now groups are ordering these adorable treats and having them delivered to say the same thing...with a little more sassy sweetness.

Welcome

Thanks for checking out my very first blog. I've decided to add a blog, in addition to my website (coming soon), as a way to show everyone what's baking in Sugar Mama's kitchen and keep everyone updated on the latest treats being created and ordered for my customers.
Please feel free to contact me with comments and questions.

Thanks,
Lee Ann
